Here is a list of commonly used couponing terms and abbreviations.
Q = Cupon
MQ = Manufacturers coupon, cupon del fabricante
PQ = Publix coupon, cupon de Publix.
DC = Digital Coupon from Publix, Cupon digital publix
TQ = Target Coupon, cupon de Target
IP = Internet Printable, cupon imprimible por internet
SS = SmartSource, (Find them in the Sunday Newspaper) libro de cupones dentro del periodico del domingo.
*SV o S= SAVE, (Find them in the Sunday Newspaper) libro de cupones que sale los fines de semana en el periódico
PG = Procter & Gamble, (Find them inside the Newspaper the last Sunday of each month) libro de cupones que sale el ÚLTIMO fin de semana de cada mes (a veces el primero) en el periódico.

BOGO o B1G1 = Buy 1 Get 1 FREE, compra un artículo y el segundo sale gratis, también puede usarse B2G1, B2G2, B1G2, etc.
WYB = ‘When You Buy’, When you need to buy a product to receive another product for free or to get a discount, se usa para explicar ofertas por lo general donde se tenga que comprar más de un artículo, por ejemplo: Recibe 1 pasta de dientes gratis WYB 1 cepillo Oral B.
YMMV = ‘Your Mileage May Vary’, this mean no all deals are the same in each store, always check your store. Tu Millaje Puede Variar, esta frase se utiliza cuando es una oferta tipo liquidación, puede ser que haya en mi tienda, pero no en la tuya.
$1/1 = $1 off when you buy 1 product, Cupón que da $1 de descuento en la compra de 1 producto
$2/1 = $2 off when you buy 1 product, Cupón que da $2 de descuento en la compra de 1 producto
$1/2 = $1 off when you buy 2 product, Cupón que da $1 de descuento en la compra de 2 productos.

CLX = Clearance, Liquidación
MCM = Magic Coupon Machine at CVS, la máquina roja en CVS que te da cupones cuando escaneas tu tarjeta
EB = ExtraBucks, Coupon from CVS to use on almost any product in the store, You will get this coupon when you get products with the promotion, always look for products with the tag (Get $$ Extrabucks) un cupón de CVS valido para casi cualquier cosa en la tienda, este dinero de la tienda lo obtienes al comprar ciertas ofertas semanales
RR = Walgreens Register Rewards (Similar to CVS extrabucks), Money that you get from buying some weekly offers from Walgreens, similar al ExtraBuck, es un cupon valido para casi cualquier cosa en Walgreens, imprime al comprar ciertas ofertas semanales
CAT or CATALINA = Coupon that prints at the register after purchase at Walgreens.
Balance Reward Points o solo ‘Points’ = Loyalty points you can use them to buy at walgreens, Programa de fidelidad de Walgreens, te dan cierta cantidad de puntos, canjeables por crédito en tus compras, al comprar ciertas ofertas semanales.
ExtraCare = Cvs members card, this is used to get discount for some products or use you extrabucks or coupons, Tarjeta de fidelidad de CVS, se usa para obtener descuentos en la tienda y usar tus cupones digitales.
RedCard = Debit or credit card from Target, Tarjeta de Credito o de Debito de Target. Requiere SSN.
NLA = Coupon or offer No Longer Available, cuando un cupón era para imprimir, aun está vigente, pero no está disponible para imprimir
IVC = Instant Value Coupon, cupon de valor instantaneo. Son cupones de Walgreens que salen en el librito mensual que tienen en la entrada, solo necesitan ser escaneados 1 vez y se aplica a todos los productos pertinentes.
OOP = Out Of Pocket, “Del Bolsillo”, se refiere al costo que sale directamente de tu bolsillo, sin tener en cuenta las posibles recompensas y rebates posteriores.
CRT = Son los cupones que imprime la MCM de CVS.
PEELIE = Coupon that you peel off the package – Cupón que está pegado al producto.
BLINKIES = In-store coupons near product, usually from a red blinking box. Cupón que se encuentra en unas maquinitas en los pasillos de las tiendas, usualmente cerca del producto.
TP = Tearpad = A pad of refund forms or coupons found hanging from a store shelf or display. – Cupón que está como en unos libritos y se consiguen en las tiendas, cerca de los productos
What is a manufacturer coupon?
Manufacturer coupons are issued by manufacturers of products for use at any store that accepts manufacturer coupons. They say “manufacturer’s coupon” somewhere on the coupon.

Where can I find paper manufacturer coupons?
Newspaper coupons
Where can I find them? Paper manufacturer coupons live inside Sunday newspaper inserts like Smart Source (SS), Save, Procter & Gamble (PG), and Unilever Super Saver.
How many identical coupons can I get? As many as you want. The best thing about newspaper coupons — and the reason people still bother with them — is you can buy as many copies of the Sunday paper as you want in order to get multiples of the same manufacturer coupons.

Where can I find them? You’ve got a couple of options here. You can find printable coupons at Coupons.com
Digital coupons
Look for these through specific store apps or websites. For grocery shopping, download the CVS app, Walgreens app, Kroger app, and Target app to find digital manufacturer coupons.
How many identical coupons can I get? Typically you can just get one coupon per purchase.

You need to “clip” the coupon by tapping it, and then if you’re placing an order through the app, the coupon applies automatically to your order at checkout. If you’re using a digital coupon in store, you will need to “clip” it, In most stores like CVS, Walgreens, and Kroger, the digital coupon is linked to your phone number and/or loyalty account.
What is a store coupon?
A store coupon is issued by a specific store for use only at that retailer. Store coupons tend to be dollar-off savings or percent-off savings. You can find these coupons on the retailer’s App, in the weekly ad, and store coupon books in the store. Sometimes you need to ask for them in the customer services desk.
Pro Tip: On the App sometimes you can find Manufacturer coupons and Store coupons to combine to save even more!
Please always read your store’s coupon policy to make sure they don’t have any variations. For example, at Walmart you can only use one coupon per item, no stacking. No exceptions.

DO:
Be nice with your cashier and please follow their rules.
Use one manufacturer coupon and one store coupon on one product.
Read your store’s coupon policy to learn how many times you can use a manufacturer coupon with a store coupon in one purchase (transaction). Generally, it’s four times per transaction, but each store has their own policy.
Before heading to the store Check your manufacturer coupon expiration dates. Some coupons like P&G printables expire quickly.
Use digital coupons from a store app if you’re placing a pickup or delivery order.
DON’T:
Never try to use two identical manufacturer coupons on the same item or two identical store coupons on the same item. Only use one of each per item.
Never, never ever copy coupons. It’s a fraud. Instead, ask your partner, mom, and friends to print coupons for you and go shopping together. Or buy multiple copies of a Sunday Newspaper.
Never Give up. Everyone feels overwhelmed at the beginning, but if you go slow and take it one step at a time practicing everyday, you’ll get it!
